Just A Thought

A dinner for two
With my misery;
Slipping on the slippery
time trickery
to write history;
To turn the hands
of the clock back,
How does that work?
With a pen and book?
But I don’t know where
My pen and books at;
News flash, leave it alone,
you know you cant change that;
You cant rewrite history
like in the movies;
What a sad fact...
But you know the future
can always be written;
What we have today
you don’t always
get tomorrow
as a given;
Plus life might have
something in store
for you better;
Whether you call it
a choice or a fate
destiny or whichever;
The future's one thing,
question is should you
Change the present;
Guess i'll just sit around
until I figure out that
