Rage
I sit in the dark room that
I call my mind
I sit with my eyes closed as
I try to quell the fire burning inside,
I try to calm the beast lurking inside me
I sit with my eyes closed
in this dark room, I sit with
my hands firmly placed at my sides
for I would not want
to lose site of them
The beast rages and grinds his teeth,
I tilt my head in the dark room
and I breathe
The fire roars and consumes me,
I scream out, I rush to get some relief,
I run in the dark room,
I sit and I breathe
the beast scraps and my chest,
I breathe,
the beast bites and bellows,
I breathe,
the beast forces its way,
I breathe,
the fire dims,
I breathe,
the beast paces back and forth,
I breathe,
the beast calms,
I breathe,
I breathe as the last of the embers burn,
the beast sulks back into his layer
I breathe,
I open my eyes.....I blink and I smile.......
I call my mind
I sit with my eyes closed as
I try to quell the fire burning inside,
I try to calm the beast lurking inside me
I sit with my eyes closed
in this dark room, I sit with
my hands firmly placed at my sides
for I would not want
to lose site of them
The beast rages and grinds his teeth,
I tilt my head in the dark room
and I breathe
The fire roars and consumes me,
I scream out, I rush to get some relief,
I run in the dark room,
I sit and I breathe
the beast scraps and my chest,
I breathe,
the beast bites and bellows,
I breathe,
the beast forces its way,
I breathe,
the fire dims,
I breathe,
the beast paces back and forth,
I breathe,
the beast calms,
I breathe,
I breathe as the last of the embers burn,
the beast sulks back into his layer
I breathe,
I open my eyes.....I blink and I smile.......
