Angel in Black Lace
She is an angel in black lace
Broken and bleeding
She stands in the rain
Silently pleading
"Help me? Help me please"
But no one can hear her
They walk by
Looking away..
So they don't see the scars
And the blood..
They are intentionally blind
her pain.. Disturbs them
So they block it out
Even though everything...
Everything points to her being broken
Her sleeves are long
And stained by blood
Her cheeks streaked by tears
.. Stained from all those years
Waking up with nightmares
She screams again and nobody hears her
A broken damaged girl
Left to withstand pain
Alone again and again.
Lost and losing hope
Will nothing get better?
She is an angel in black lace

Very deep feelings come through, such sorrow such pain, a cry from the heart that needs to be heard. Beautiful in a dark deep way.

This poem is amazing. The angel hanging on for hope lost in a world of darkness (self centered people). Reading this poem I was able to relate.
