Like Me

How many times to I question society?
I am not part of the mainstream.
Why do I loathe conformity?
I do not float among masses.

I guess it's because I know how it should be.
I want to rule myself,
I don't want the illusion of equality.
Maybe it's my state of mind.

I climb the ladder of the best.
not the ladder of success.
Because I am free to roam like rest.
Also I am corralled.

I want to believe I am not like you,
But could you believe that you are like me?
