Another Day(Forgotten)
Another day
Another week
Another year
Time passes unaware of the pain it causes us
This drawn out depression and the ever shortening span of life
Are just blips on the radar that are never revisited
We beat on, backs against the current
Killing the present and wringing out the past
Raising our guns against our stereotypes
And betraying the charities we fund
Tell me, how do you feel?
Living in this guilt riddled paradise
This wax carver's dripping bottle
Life's a disposable cartridge that
Feeds ink into a ball point pen
What is written can't be erased
But it can so easily be replaced
