Thoughts of his touch spurred
Torrential currents of my longing.
I was swept away by his easy smiles
And provocative words.
Promises of pleasure and oh
His flesh and heat proving his truth.

To be beyond his flesh,
Delving to deeper avenues.
Oh to be intoxicated by his spirit and mind,
Made me blind to what was real.

This man I claim to love,
I don't know Him.
I'm in love with the idea of his love.
