Deafening silence

Silence is deafening
We sit here alone
Reminiscing on what was
Lingering
Thoughts  of us pretzeled
Moans felt
Eyes dimmed
Mood paused at the repetition of an unwanted instincts
Heart racing
Eyes flooded
Thoughts flashing
Hatred towered slowly
Back into my shell where my silence remains deafening.
