Excellent form and imagery, Lena!
At first I thought of the haiku form, but Nikki is correct, a senryu.
Very well crafted!

Absinthe, this is such an honor to have you read and comment. I'm a humble student right now, but you inspire me to keep learning.
I love to dance and feel so sexy when I do.
Thank you

Oh you're welcome, Lena! I would consider myself a student of poetry too, being relatively new to this. Learning through each other's poetry and certainly through our own mistakes is the ultimate 'teacher.'
And on dance - I can believe that, a well-toned healthy body through dancing gives a genuine sexy feeling! I can't dance myself, I just try! :D
What sort of dance do you do?

LOL! Well at least you try to dance. I'm sure you are much harder on yourself. If you can twirl or sway your body an let the music penetrate, you can dance.
I'm not a professional dancer per se, not that I didn't want to be. Long story short, life happened. I never lost my passion for it. I dance salsa, merengue, reggae or whatever they play in that moment, at that place....tried bachata, zumba and even pole dancing...lol. I've even found myself dancing in heels, tank top and underwear, when alone at home. Hope that wasn't TMI.

hey!!! I just saw a new competition on DUP, it's started by Lobo, excellent poet and the theme is Dance! :)))
I thought about you when I read it. See http://deepundergroundpoetry.com/forum/competitions/read/6653/
Maybe I'll give it a try too, it says we could write about the pain of dance too! LOL! :)

LOL! How wonderful, you thought of me at the mention of the contest....(clasping my hands together).
It would be interesting to say the least.
I'm not sure I am ready for any contest, but I'm know you will be excellent no matter what you say. I will certainly cheer for you. You are a hoot Absinthe!

Oh dear, Lobo (his comment below) just found us! LOL! :)
I'm not ready or keen on contests myself but DUP seems fun, at least maybe it's good to use contest themes/challenges to write new poems as an exercise, not really to grab a medal.
I joined a contest for Valentines and didn't win, a bit disappointed, but it's reasonable and fair since I didn't work hard on the poem. At this point, am just glad that I wrote a new poem because of the contest.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Lena! If ever, let's join competitions for the fun! :)

Lena, the imagery in this piece is beautifully sensual. I can see the curves swaying to the music. Brava!
