Coat of Fir
A beacon of life
In a world full of gray
When earth's chlorophyll complexion
Fades away to less than perfection
In the crisp frost of winter
Evergreens stand out with pride
Year round they blend in
But now is their time to shine
When a bright hue of green
Is more likely to be really seen
And appreciated
