Beaten and loved

Reading and unwritten letter
She wanted to cry but couldnt
her head is bleeding
Blood runs as he kissed her
her knees are blackened
as she lies on the floor
she wonders of the mistake
To chose a man over family
As she cries he hits her again
Sees one tear and clamps his fist
She wanted out
She wanted safety
To bad she to far from home
She climbed out of the bed
that she once knew
A year with one person
wondering what to do
He walked out and she came in
Her heart has stopped its caved in
simple words and simple meanings
She loved this man
Her arms had bruises
Knife marks where he cut her
A busted lip
A broken heart
There were many things broken
But now
She ran and ran and ran
To run to nothing but death
Forever she lies dead in tomb
but to be honest
her heart stopped
And had one last breath which saved
her life
