I am Elemental
Born on our precious planet
Embodiment of emotions and passion

I am Water.
My touch calms and cools you
Sweep you away in my currents, carry you effortlessly
I have my own deep dark depths
Tidal emotions that change with the day
I wash you clean, I quench your thirst
You can float with me, I’ll hold you up
But if you struggle against me
I could just as easily drag you down


I am Fire.
My touch lights you up
I burn and hurt you
I turn you into a molten mass
Subject to change
I melt you, I turn you into ash
From the ash rebirths a phoenix
My flames dance and grow
They diminish and slow

I am Earth.
My touch is hard and strong
I am solid to stand on
I’ll let you dig deep into me
Or let landslides wash you away
Or I could quake, and swallow you whole
I have many layers
And at the center a core nobodies seen

I am Air.
My touch is soft and fleeting
I may leave tomorrow
I may return today
But I carry everything with me
