Crafting Crowns
Thrown into a world I used to own,
A world fast paced and forgetful in its own right and way,
Thrown into a world I no longer know,
A world that has forgotten me just the same.
All these years later, upon my return to sender,
I've come to find the crown I crafted upon another king.
All that I worked for--wiped clean with blood for cleansor,
I've come to accept the fact that I can't accept the new me.
I used to stand apart until they all stood against me.
How can I stand apart on the legs they've paralyzed?
I used to own this world but they eventually lose interest in every king;
How can I convince them they were wrong, and show them that they're blind?
How can I tell them that they're deaf?
How can I convince them that they're not that easily convinced?
How can I tell them I'm not a ghost when they think that I'm dead?
How can I convince them that recrafting my crown is how we all win?
