WORN LIKE A BLANKET
(Written in imitation of the Song of Solomon's style.)
I wear my Beloved like a blanket, as I lie upon my bed.
His arms encircle me and I hold him close to me.
His warmth is closer and hotter than that of the cover, between my legs he is entangled.
He is my bed rock, security personified.
God said to Eve: “Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”:My desire is for my Beloved, and he is all over me.
He rubs harmoniously on my skin, every part of me, until I have to take him inside,
To staunch the fountain that wells up from within me,
When he and I will be one, and the whole earth moves as if urging us on.
