Fall Out of Time
By the light of the oil-lamp
the scent of the cooked chandoo rises
Dross scraped off to purify
Now inhale,
and fall out of time
Drifting world comes into focus
darkened room that keeps me warm
Feel no wanting for the rat races
the ego's and immaturities of men
And women
Left in a space
to discover the Universe
time has no meaning for me
Life is simply a road
from which I recline, at
My. Own. Pace.
