Emotional Flood Pt. 2

a fragile mind, ticking timebomb
frightened of the very soul
that has breathed life to lies.

and what will become of the one
convienced to set the truth aside
to keep living in the bearable precious calm.

these lies have caused much agony
beyond redemption fatal mistakes are revealed
no where to hide, no where to run.

one last miserable chance
trying it all over again,
and for this the mind asks the soul, why?

feels like a rerun of fading emotion,
will it ever be any different,
will it ever changes what is to be?

another pitfall, set on fire by guilt and regret
whispers filtering the sould disease
there is still time, still another way to live...

floating through these midnight dreams
trying to make all the wrongs right
facing the demons of this reality...
