I Am A Hip Hop Head
I am
A hip hop head.
And in the knowing of hip hop, lies true knowledge of self.
Elements prominent in my head.
No space for anything else.
Kicks and snares, bypassing regulated thoughts and permits me to use latent parts of my consciousness.
Trebles, treble my ability to formulate.
Think, emulate whatever my imagination gives birth to.
From the beginning
Hip hop nurtured and nursed by my heart.
Always rocking in my head.
For my head is the cradle of hip hop.
Snap backs, held in place to shelter the pride I hold in place.
Holding my hearts pace.
Synced with the beats, that box my chest.
And each time I listen.
My head would spin for no reason like b-boys.
Pop-locking, tight.
Popping locks open in my head to unleash the true potential of my mind.
Opening my minds eye
I am the Eye of time.
9 times, the eye of Horus.
Hip hop makes my imagination a black book.
Are you scared to open this next page?
Graffiti, always in the walls of my mental passages.
Always taggin' wisdom.
Narrow lines, thin, subtle between reality and my imagination.
Bold color, vivid vibrations resonating with the sound of air out the spray can.
The pigments of life spring from nozzles like sperm from erect penises.
Always in my head, causing me to perceive everything in life poetically.
None mistaken there... Accuracy.
Only treasure to be found in the open mind of a hip hop head.
Living it, preserving it, keeping it,
Real.
And whenever my mind strays away a bit from it...
You'll find me wearing it.
Dressed in baggy pride.
Hoodies are my second skin.
Biggie, Pun, Pac, Primo... Did they bury them in my head?
I'm killing it, fresh to death.
My head, now a cemetery.
Residents are Immortal techniques of cleanly executed murder upon graffiti, rap and poetry.
The echoes of DJ scratches... Damn!
Those loops are suicidal.
I bring lyrical death to my verses.
Death to wack cats...
Who lied?
Told the descendants of the last few chosen that the seed wilted.
Lies! Hip hop lives, in our lives.
I speak for all my ink clans.
Its always in my head.
Where is yours?
