Jasmonate

I did not mean to intrude
Upon the late night painted vails,
Which was to fold into the linens
Sprinkled of lavender budded molecules

Only to read specks of proteins
Signaling pathways downstream
For apical hooks of viral effector cocktails

The heavens sent down one of their monsters
To surround me, yet the horror has faded,
Scarce to see her Mydriasis darkened with fear,
Or the private staircase to her abscisic bower.
