You woman
destroyer of men; Incinerator of egos,
Possess a beauty few truly understand.
Most men hawk and bark at the lengths of your legs.
Some men tremble under the weight of your seduction.
But I am a man who does neither.
I stand fixated by the resolution of your eyes.
By the truths they speak in total silence
As you give me a look that would turn most men to ash.
You woman
Ravishing with ambition; glowing with determination.
Do not stand on a pedestal like some prized possession
You are a soul of flesh and bone; of faults and strengths
Who knows of hard work,
That can comprehend the complexities that come with being yourself
In a room of plastic smiles.

Smart woman, feminist woman,
Honest woman, alluring woman
Are one I can still admire
Even with all physicality put aside.
