Drain of a heart

Will I ever stop loving you? It's like asking the flowers to never bloom. I wish I was dead so you would notice why, that even in the underworld I would scream your name and Mephistopheles would grow weary of my screams and bring you here, forever with me. Yet you stab and you scrape at this heart you once ached, and for what? This soul is not designed to your liking? Of course because YOU are the affected one here in your mind. Kill me and save me the agony for you do not understand that, no prick nor blade will cause me pain. You emptied it all out, just like that of a drain. But in spite of all these words that my demons summon, I love you with a heart most sullen.
