Savior
No flames ablaze, no cruelty nor shame
No Minos upon a throne, nor screeches of pain
A ray of white light, as an angelic voice speaks
"Welcome to eternal rest with purity and peace"
A divine entrance of pearls, a road that gleams brighter than a sun
The magnificent kingdom of where the great one's creation begun
The world below is of sin, us all born in her filth
Desperate and hungry for lust, our dark passions fulfilled
Every soul a puppet to a hellion, oh how he shadowed over me
He scorched me with fire and drowned me in the sea
His maniacal laughter, oh how it lingered in my mind
An ungodly look leaving the fearless blind
My efforts to flee from Him, I tried with such might
His fangs pierced my flesh with his deadly bite
Crying out for a hand, begging for a genuine touch
As long and far as I bellowed, it did not accomplish much
Suffocated by darkness, I no longer trusted in such a love
One strong enough to release his grip, no love from above
In my death I longed for life, losing sight in my swollen eyes
A knight shook Hades with a hand of strength, no need for any form of disguise
He crippled my demon, destroyed him to shreds
His angels called to me, "Return to us child; for you were misled"
My pain was demolished, I weeped at my champion's feet
Pondering how I drifted from one so glorious; accepted such defeat
The monster refused to leave me be, craving the taste of my blood
He returned with such presence, overwhelming my mind like a flood
Once a disgusting enemy, I truly believed that this would be the end
Through his lies and deception, the beast became my closest friend
"Bow down before me!" He would demand, "Tremble in my sight!"
"Become another useless soul; become my bird without flight!"
I worshiped his treasures, his magic had me feeling alive
Pupils dark as night, I knew I was truly dead inside
I drowned myself in his sin, I gave in and allowed myself to die
It wasn't until after my death, when I finally opened my eyes
I awoke to my old savior, in a place more lovely than I had ever been
He approached me, "My child, I saved you from your demon once; I can do so again."
