Mystery Man
the mystery man always wins
those who stand alone
know the power of silence
until words need to be spoken
single malt Irish whiskey
in a weighted glass
the wonderful haze
Bowie cranked loud
everyone wants pleasure
masturbation is always free
take it if there’s nothing else
the lone wolf wins again
those who stand alone
know the power of silence
until words need to be spoken
single malt Irish whiskey
in a weighted glass
the wonderful haze
Bowie cranked loud
everyone wants pleasure
masturbation is always free
take it if there’s nothing else
the lone wolf wins again

Nice! Trade out the whiskey for a rich green bud and Bowie for The Doors and that's me.

Wonder what it be like, to sit beside you at a bar, partake, but stay silent.
I think I'd write something about it.
Nice imagination generating.

you are going for all my favs
I think my early stuff was better than what I'm doing now, I deleted over 150 poems recently because I was saying the same thing over and over

I am drawn to the earlier ones, it doesn't mean they're better in any sense. Just what I'm connecting to in my present state of feeling.
It's good to weed through and discard, cleansing of sorts.
