On The Solitary Mind
How Beautiful, the solitary mind, woefully so
For in its self it finds both Peace and Hell.
The wisdom of a thousand pains,
The guilt and shame and pitty for ones self.
The sweet caress of Dreams of Lovers songs,
The loneliness when Lovers Dreams have gone.
How beautiful, the solitary mind, but who would know
Save Poets, Orphans, Ramblers, and all of those alone?
For in its self it finds both Peace and Hell.
The wisdom of a thousand pains,
The guilt and shame and pitty for ones self.
The sweet caress of Dreams of Lovers songs,
The loneliness when Lovers Dreams have gone.
How beautiful, the solitary mind, but who would know
Save Poets, Orphans, Ramblers, and all of those alone?
