Snuff out my light
And leave me in darkness
Let me hide away
From all the madness
Push me away, darling
Just like you always do
Then beg me to stay
As if I'm something to lose
Take away my pride
Smash my heart on the floor
Kiss me with your poison lips
Enrapture me to want more
Hold me in your arms
Keeping me together until
I shatter in your grasp
And lay cold and still
Bury me in our past
Under that summer sky
When we were so in love
You were mine, and I thine
