dead man's crescendo
E minor
hammer on regret
pull off to forget
G for the good times
and D for a death
E minor again
but this time slide in
the blues scale
before your last breath
1-4
1,2,3
1-3
1,3,4

Artificial harmonic
for the corpse
don't let the bridge slip
like this
don't burn the only way back
to a life once lived
spark the fire in her eyes
kick the pedal
crank up the overdrive
set the reverb to two
to let the ghosts echo through
another dismal serenade
front pick ups burnt out
playing in the rain must have damaged my coils
these old elixers
still sure set the tone though
so here we go
gonna try to play it clean again
until this quarter inch fails
and I lose every pick
due diligence
busts every string
ill still sing
tap my foot to the roof of hell
scream to the heavens
that I wanna slit her throat
to be the last one
she ever loved
When it all falls apart
You can still
hum a tune in the dark
the only thing
every real artist has in common
is a broken heart
hammer on regret
pull off to forget
G for the good times
and D for a death
