Save yourself !
Pastor quit trying to save my dying soul.
Preaching to me like I'm a child .
Your collection bowl stacked inches high .
Yet little hungry kids daily die.
Save your preaching for the rich .
Never would they ever share .
Can buy the world with their riches.
But their hearts are cold as ice.
Your church is filled Sunday after Sunday.
Still the poor begs outside the door.
Garage parked with cars of all brands.
Still there is no money to clothe the homeless.
Save the mumbo jumbo for some other sinner.
I'm just fed up of the heartache and stress.
Trying to save me from myself .
Looks like you need the savior .
Fooling the innocent to reap the benefits.
Tricking the poor you reap your riches.
Robbing the hood in broad daylight.
Fooling them to give generously to Jesus .
While Jesus has no need for earthly riches.
Tell the poor the truth .
Comfort them in time of sorrows.
Without any agenda hidden and unclear.
Show them a way to live with substance .
So that they can live their full potential .
Show fathers how to be upstanding leaders.
Instead of comforting single mothers .
So that their children would be strong women and men in their communities.
Urge them to stand firm to their beliefs and rights.
Lying on the pulpit Sunday after Sunday.
Speak the truth for once in your life .
Tell the people to help the poor and shut in.
Instead of feeding them sweet lies for your lifestyle.
Seems to me that you are the one in need for some saving .
Change your heart and renew your mind.
Hell is real burning hot with sinners.
Change your life before it's to late .
Too many wounded soldiers have fallen by the wayside.
Just need a hand along the way.
Life is full of uncertainties .
No one is safe from poverty and stress.
Help be of use to starving people who are stuck in need of great help.
Daily living their lives in a mess.
Use your power to win souls for heaven.
Rather than living a life of sin.
Helpless people in need of happiness.
Please spread some love and kindness.
Share God's love in this wicked world of sin.

i could print that and pin it in churches in my town.
very true,so much hypocrisy going on in churches,its no longer about saving souls but rather bout making money!
it is a business around here,the summons are tailored to give the crowd what they wanna hear!

yeah!which chapter in the Holy Book said Jesus needs a printed Cheque?!

Don't hear that kind of 'prosperity preaching' round here in my part of England (there few churches that only have rich people as a congregation). However it makes a good warning to would-be pastors to beware gravitating to the well-off and to that kind of teaching. A poem that could also belong in the Spiritual section.
