Saying Good-bye To 2013
Reflecting back on 2013 it’s had it regrets, its sorrows, laughs, and tragedies. We welcomed new life, new friends and new loves, and said good-bye to life lost from illness or heartbreak.
My wish for this New Year I pray for no more illness, more love, hope, and abundance of health, and wealth for all. For everyone’s financial needs to be met, to laugh more, take care of each other and love more.
Be less critical and judgmental of ourselves and others, the willingness to accept others just as they are and what they bring to the table, no matter what their faults or struggles are.
To see my family more often to make lasting memories, to be grateful and happy with what I have in front of me at this very moment and always. It has been a hard year, being away from family and the day in day out struggles with finances, health and relationships.
I pray they are all forgiven; and the struggles be less and victories be great! We have been blessed by this year, not all has been hardship. We found love again, we mended relationships and our hearts have grown bigger and fonder of those who we have invited into our life.
To the ones who have taken advantage of our kindness said or done unkind things, I thank you, for without you I might forget to stay on my toes and stay sharp at all times. For those of you who have wished wellness, kind words, and are just plain thoughtful, I must say I’m sorry! I’m sorry for not acknowledging your kindness and for skipping over the thank you’s and have a great day that I didn't say in return, I want you to know that your kindness has not gone un-noticed.
For those who are no longer with us, please continue to watch over us and help guide us. Save us a seat, we miss you being here with us.
With the dusting of snow and the soft pinging of the rain that falls from the sky, let it clear our paths and wash away evil injustice and all the bad, the tears and regrets we have for the year 2013.
Let it also remind us of the smiles and laughs and the memories of our lives that we continue to build on.
Happy New Year! Let it be happy and prosperous for all in 2014!
