Beneath
Hey, yeah you
I can see you sitting
All lonely
A drink for you
To ease your cares
Can I sit
And talk awhile?
Enough of me
What about you?
Is there a tale
Behind that glass?
Who’s to blame
For this sad
Broken heart?
What is this,
Are you getting tired?
A long day
So full of stress.
Care to go back
To my place
To let a load off?
I promise
To listen to your woes
You can cry
In my strong arms.
I will hold you
Until you drift
Off into bliss.
You awake
In pitch darkness
Encased in wood.
Fear flutters
Inside your heart.
What is this?
Buried alive.
You lash about
Against the pine box
That has become
Your tomb.
Predicament
Is clear, you scream
No one hears you.
But me
I smile wide
You are but
Another trophy
Under my floors.
Deep inside
The dirt-packed ground.
Oh, your face
Swims gracefully
In my dreams.
Easing away
Troubles of the day.
Thank you, dear,
For being my friend.
I can see you sitting
All lonely
A drink for you
To ease your cares
Can I sit
And talk awhile?
Enough of me
