Poem in question: (Simply for the love of it)
...thought i'd share this FaceBook interaction.
Duke: interesting... could you please explain your use of ellipses?

RH Peppers: hmmm..
pardon my answering your question with a few questions of my own..
if one dances just to impress others..
...will he or she be able to impress all?
...will not such an ego love those it has charmed and subject to spite them who disagree?..
(such a one has much to prove, in so having much to lose: but to each his or her own)..
now for one who plays only to win..
...do they not only find happiness upon such success?
(of which is only a passing high that shall flee as quickly as it had come: but again.. to each his or her own)
...these are the games some choose to play... and who is anybody to say they are right or wrong.. for each are entitled to their own choice of play..
now for those who choose to dance or play.. simply for the love of it..
...are not subject to the opinions of others..
...nor are in wait for such a high that if may ever come will be just as soon to pass them by..
those who choose to play this game are more comparable to the wick of a candle stick.. as a steady flame is from beginning to end.. each moment is as special as the next..
...i hope this makes more clear my idea of the tying points in a few of the ellipses from this poem.. thank you for the question.. i do appreciate your interest Duke.. 8^/ Red
