Merry Christmas

Have yourself a Happy Day.
May Santa visit you in his sleigh.
The reindeer will even help the roses.
With their cold and fuzzy noses.

The silence of a Christmas night.
With stars oh so bright.
Frost on the ground.
And the world not making a sound.

The world waits in anticipation
Across every nation.
The love of all children for one man.
The years do span.

Never mean.
Never seen.
Though plenty wait.
For Santa the great.

The world turns.
And everybody yearns.
To know the fate of the new year.
Some with a beer.
