and I know you

Oh,
you play a good game my love
Your prowess fares quite well
yet....
we all have nits and
pricks in the fabric
of our lives
they tatter and
eventually tell
the truth....

yours is a deeply moving tale
Chapters yet to be told
Axis, just as bold
as your love......
…..not as strong as you may allude
but never needing to prove that
between me and you
I know your love
You are an earth sign
your alter ego
is like the “Rain”
emotional, intuitive
sensitive
things you see as security
and balance.....
crutches held tightly
touchstones that keep you sane

I tempestuously
blow
my tangled fingers
through your thick, dark
alluring mane
selfishly disturbing your calm
balancing the need in me

till the end of time
