Love Struck
Your eyes glazed with memories of summer
Thoughts weigh heavy with longing
I never said I loved you
You're pretty in cursive
I like the way you bend
What makes up the best of you
Is corrupted and condemned
I tangle your misery
Around my liars chair
This heart you proudly display
Is cut open, raw and bare
My face turns to shadows
I sigh as I pull you near
You groan as I kiss your throat
Your attraction very clear
That serial killer look you give me
Where your eyes shine dark and low
That smile that wrecks my insides
I'm yours without question
But I will never admit defeat
My back straight with indifference
As you twist my heart around your feet
