I miss you.
There's nothing more to say.
My golden angel..
Why did you have to go away?

These days are filled with memories
And the nights filled with dreams of should've beens
Are when I miss you the most.
Why couldn't you have staid?

This world was a dangerous place
Too dangerous for a angel like you
And even though a smile lingered on your face
You were never happy here

You were my first guardian
A friend in the truest sense
And I know we'll meet again
And for that day..I await.

We were not in love
Just two identical souls
Pushing back against the world's shove
And now..i'm alone without you

Rest in peace my dear friend
Fly high above this world
Where you were never supposed to fit in
I know again we will meet
