Another Dawn Without You
A songless bird against the sky
a lone jogger along the beach
fragrance of coffee
a sudden peal of laughter
they colour the dawn
another one without you
empty lonely arms
cuddling a bolster
curled against the pillows
looking from curtainless windows
blush pink from dawn dusted sky
another day without you
closed eyes seeping tears
not knowing where to begin
slumbers on in a blanket
of warmth fuelled by wishes
for better dawns
for thousands of tomorrows
Another day without you
just another day.

A beautiful write, for it takes me back to someone I lost. Teary eyed right now really made me reflect. A very overwhelming piece.
