My Heart As A Hole
I’m sorry for the tears
From these countless years
I’m sorry for the lies
Your heart screams
As I sever all our ties
Wish me to my bottomless pit
That I dug while at the top you sit
You call out but cannot hear
So I keep digging out of fear
Fear from what I do not know
Like the vines it just grows and grows
I look up and all I see
Are tears in your eyes
While you reach out for me
I now see the walls around me
They are steep and slick
But brittle and weak
I yell out for you to leave me
In the hopes they crumble and bury me
As I dig my own grave
And wait for death
From these countless years
I’m sorry for the lies
Your heart screams
As I sever all our ties
Wish me to my bottomless pit
That I dug while at the top you sit
You call out but cannot hear
So I keep digging out of fear
Fear from what I do not know
Like the vines it just grows and grows
I look up and all I see
Are tears in your eyes
While you reach out for me
I now see the walls around me
They are steep and slick
But brittle and weak
I yell out for you to leave me
In the hopes they crumble and bury me
As I dig my own grave
And wait for death
