The kids are all
Screwed up, tripped out
Fuckin' wastes of space
Free of remorse and guilt
Full of rage and disgrace
The kids are all
Washed out, messed up
Fuckin' pieces of shite
Free of emotion and fear
Full of anger and spite
I wave the black flag above my head
A signal to the lost kids, left for dead
They flock to the banner in the dark of night
Answer their calling, ready for the fight
I wave the black flag high above my head
A signal to the lost kids, left for dead
They rally to the banner, it's their last hope
Drown the world in blood, make it choke
The kids are all
Fucked up, worn down
Left in a drugged state
Free from pain and stress
Filled with evil and hate
The kids are all
Broke down, shook up
Caught in a crazed mind
Free from pressure and strain
They needed help, but never mind

Just what I needed

It happens rarely, but we live our lives mistaken and occasionally some one comes along and knocks the wind out of our pretentious sails. I thank you for that... I've been writing for a while now, and now I know, I don't stand up to something of this calibre; where does your inspiration come from? The deliberately obvious rhyme scheme, the repetition. You've taken an understanding world view that you obviously possess and turned it in to deeply meaningful poetry. Thankyou for attacking me so I could have the benefit of reading this sterling piece. 'Well done that man.' I just hope the publishers snatch you from whatever life you lead and save you.

...I was just playing you. I like your style of poetry, raw and crude. I just wanted to see how you handled critique. I find thay approach works best...I would love to co-write with you...seriously.
Thanks for the comment.

It sounds like a song that Systema Synthetica would play:
www.systemasynthetica.net - go to 'Sounds' tab.
I can't decide if I should be honoured about the Linkin Park connection...or not! I am not a fan of their Nu-metal/Rap crossover.
Kind regards,
Hooded

I like this, don't know much about the various pigeon holes there are for music.
To me a song is a song like it or not.

As you commented on my "poem", i had to return the favor. I absolutely like it !
I went to your site and had to listen to the song, and loved it.
As i roam in the world of BDSM your "kind" of music is often played at party's that i visit.
You call it electro/darkwave its a good description !
I found it to be a bit R.E.M. meets Jean Michel Jarre (mind you i dont mean to offend !).
Be good...

Thank you for taking time out to read this one and also to listen to the song.
Our music does get played in BDSM clubs throughout Europe...you'll find a track called 'Frustration' on our site...that seems to be the most popular one for the clubs.
REM meets JMJ...can't be offended by that. Our new album is darker, so hopefully your next comment will be that we sound like Marilyn Manson meets VNV Nation.
regards my friend,
Hooded
