She Wishes...
At the end of the road
She wishes me...
In silhouette of dying stars,
To be whole once more.
But what I must face there
She has foreseen,
Will spin me to oblivion
And shatter myself.
My face reflects to me,
She once caressed,
Shows me a stranger in the glass
Awaiting breakage.
Once so strong, now so weak,
She had once kissed,
The blood slowly stains brittle bones,
Leaves feeble lashings.
I have seen kingdoms fall,
She once had wished...
To witness my failure's downfall
And languish in Hell.
She wishes me...
In silhouette of dying stars,
To be whole once more.
But what I must face there
She has foreseen,
Will spin me to oblivion
And shatter myself.
My face reflects to me,
She once caressed,
Shows me a stranger in the glass
Awaiting breakage.
Once so strong, now so weak,
She had once kissed,
The blood slowly stains brittle bones,
Leaves feeble lashings.
I have seen kingdoms fall,
She once had wished...
To witness my failure's downfall
And languish in Hell.
