~Snow Angel~
Silent and fear jaundiced
She leans to the ground
..It's when the death birds leer..
Hoping they won't see her there
Her plea is that they'll never know
Burrowing bare elbows into the snow
But their singing is too loud
Her hiding place burned to ash
..This pain too, shall pass..
For she gags and swallows in prayer
Sputtering black crimson onto the white
Blinking blindness onto the atmosphere
Feeling all but gone
Ohh, she can hear them
The chattering caw of them all
..is deafening..
She could scream 'til the chapel bells send rescue
But it would break the silence
..The ever blessed silence....
She leans to the ground
..It's when the death birds leer..
Hoping they won't see her there
Her plea is that they'll never know
Burrowing bare elbows into the snow
But their singing is too loud
Her hiding place burned to ash
..This pain too, shall pass..
For she gags and swallows in prayer
Sputtering black crimson onto the white
Blinking blindness onto the atmosphere
Feeling all but gone
Ohh, she can hear them
The chattering caw of them all
..is deafening..
She could scream 'til the chapel bells send rescue
But it would break the silence
..The ever blessed silence....
