My head stuck in the clouds
With my music up full blast
My eyes glittering when you’re in sight
My heart beating fast and my face has lit up as bright
I feel butterflies when you’re around
When I’m with you I feel safe and sound
I can be myself and feel like I belong
So why do I feel the need to set you free
Is all the darkness coming back to me?

But all these emotions are so alarming
You were the definition of my dream guy
But I feel that you need to spread your wings and fly

Even tho I wasn’t your first love I wanted to be your last
But as I think of this, my heart just shrinks and feels wrong
Why can’t I know what’s going on
Why can’t we tear down all the walls?

Will we ever say the words where feeling?
Or will we forever be pretending?
