The Calm after the Storm

 I am big and powerful, one bad mister.
I’m often referred to as 'A Twister'.
As the warm day air no longer divides
itself from the cold atmosphere but collides.
Spinning and spinning around I go,
putting on a very wicked show,
sometimes even making hail to form.
The disaster of a major thunderstorm.
The sky turns all dark and green,
wind dies for seconds, all seems serene.

God is with you not against!
Hard to believe as the storm is commenced.
He wants to see your success,
because of the storm now he can bless.

But in the twist of a moment or two,
I can totally destroy you!
I can level a house with just an ounce of power,
break trees off, making mankind cower.
But as the rotation begins to increase,
remember how with 3 words He made the winds cease.
The one and only true powerful Almighty!
No I'm not talking about Aphrodite…
Although she is known for love and her beauty.
He is more beautiful than a melody so fluty.

God is with you not against!

When the sky turns all dreary and dark,
will you put your faith in a monarch?
Many put their faith in Baal…
Not realizing his power is frail.
Some say a storm's power is from Zeus…
However to understand philosophy is abstruse.
David said, “He makes the storms to calm”
in the 107th chapter of the book of Psalms.
Put your faith in the one who walked on water,
in the end He will protect you from the slaughter!

Don't fear the wind and lightning in your current hour,
‘cause God will provide you with an incredible power!
