Life is just a dream
Row row row your boat they say
Gently down the streams of May
Following the current of the way
That your boat feigns only to obey
Keeping the only melancholy theme:
"Merrily, life is just a dream"
Let thee ponder of what might seem
To be only darkness after the dream
Sing a song other than but gay
To cherish joyfully the fear of day
For it is said, way leads on to way
Only for an inexplicable end.
