Chasing forever (To the feet of the sun)
The broken sons of loyalty came home
sowing seeds in furrows six feet too deep as they rode
tombstones are heavy loads
when weighed with the tears of nirvana
flowing past the grasp of silent eyes
to feed frayed edges of greying grain
temples were built with the flocks of those stony shepherds
not one lives on
but their memory remains
in sinking guts
and the whispers of dying lilies
sowing seeds in furrows six feet too deep as they rode
tombstones are heavy loads
when weighed with the tears of nirvana
flowing past the grasp of silent eyes
to feed frayed edges of greying grain
temples were built with the flocks of those stony shepherds
not one lives on
but their memory remains
in sinking guts
and the whispers of dying lilies
