reverse racism
i love the ways
you dance until you almost die
act like i don't know
but smile when you wanna cry
great resister
bad transistor
pyrex,pistols,sauldering irons
some circuits went in reverse
i'm so fucking dirty
way more
then i ever wanted you to know
lil late now i guess
im that guy though
the one who does his job
you must be the other one
don't worry ill fix it myself

act like i don't know
but smile when you wanna cry

blue collar poetry, big-fisted. 'smile when you wanna cry', man, I've seen that a lot...

Re: reverse racism
there you go.....fuckin a man. bravado aint all about who can drink or fuck the best
you tell me what you want me to read...you don't give me the answers, but I am convinced.
big dog territory.....love the first two lines by the way, remind me of slug line, " you kiss me, like you already came"
first three lines of last stanza is from a flik, which?
doesn't matter to me in terms of the write just i cant remember and its bothering me...Mark Wahlberg i think
edit: meaning ps. truly, post script: don't get the title, or the "extreme" content...but these things kinda matter inna w eird way within these constructs....example, I put all mine (except very specific connotations)into the "love" category...(as Hemi is absent I will lie and say it was my idea)... the categorization gives a slight slant whether you want it to or not...whether I get it or not, your slant adds to a certain mystery (more of a "standoffishness") to your writes

re: Re: reverse racism
the title has to do with hiring men of color just cause they have to hire a certain percentage man whether they know what they were doin or not.
and you know i love me some niggas, i just don't like guys who don't do their job correctly.
the phrase you refer to is mark wahlberg from "the departed" but it's been commonly used long b4 that movie and we just happen to use it at work all the fuckin time because it is so applicable.
i always hit the extreme content button cuz somehow someone is already always offended especially with all the really sore vags around here lately. as far as category, i guess that always comes down to personal feeling on the subject not what i want it to mean or point i try to get across.i'm a selfish writer and i see things differently. and as the rest of the world seems to inform me. i'm a fn wierdo so thas what that is.
thanx for your input brotha....

Funny. I never look at what category a poem's in anymore. Forgot they even existed.

This, in all, is a solid write. Opening a poem, or anything for that matter is most crucial for the reader, and it starts full and strong, keeps the wisdom and charm till the very end. No indulgence of yourself or the female. A good enough distance and separation from character to imbue some honest humanity. This is poetry.
