empty eyes
when i look in the mirror what do i see?
empty eyes starring back at me
i put on a fake smile
that only lasts a short while
sometimes it feels like everything is crumbling
i continue struggling
somehow i never feel right
i feel i should stay out of site
seems every time i get any confidence
its stolen away
it doesn't stay
seems i get more empty
caring less every day
kinda soulless you see?
just like the eyes starring back at me

Sounds like you should just be yourself, and stop caring so much what people think. ( if that's really how you feel about yourself ). Excellent write, tho, just giving my "two cents"

its not that i care what people think at all i don't i have social anxiety and a severe shyness. its kinda hard to explain but i see were you're coming from. my poems are always about what i feel i don't just make them up. thanks for the opinion and the honest words always appreciated!
