Thoughts of the shunned
Stagnant in my own corner
With silence that screams oh so loud
I can hear my breath
And every thud my tears make.
Resetting clock arms backward
Memories flash uncontrollably
I was only then sitting on the foot of Sorrow
But now I am cradled by he.
I am drowned in my own lament
Concealed by my own name
In a solitude not known by the lonesome
Trapped in Misery’s game.
None shall give me comfort
I call upon demons and none answer
Even ghosts have been avoiding me
To be left in a night devoid of beasts
A cruel fate with death’s callings
Growing ever…ever so stronger
With silence that screams oh so loud
I can hear my breath
And every thud my tears make.
Resetting clock arms backward
Memories flash uncontrollably
I was only then sitting on the foot of Sorrow
But now I am cradled by he.
I am drowned in my own lament
Concealed by my own name
In a solitude not known by the lonesome
Trapped in Misery’s game.
None shall give me comfort
I call upon demons and none answer
Even ghosts have been avoiding me
To be left in a night devoid of beasts
A cruel fate with death’s callings
Growing ever…ever so stronger
