BENEATH THE BEAUTIFUL SAPPHIRE BLUE
Waking where the animals feed.
Dancing with the savages.
Blending with this dust of land.
Through my calloused hands,it passes.
You cannot see the sun,
but you burn within it's heat.
I'll see myself,only once.
I fear the sin, alone is blinding.
Chance has violently thrown me here.
At waters edge, the first I've found.
I wash myself,my face,my hands.
To cleanse the soul, would mean to drown.
As ripples calm reflection stares,
calling me under,into the womb.
Submerged to baptize,never rise...
from beneath the beautiful sapphire blue.
