Vanity Breaks Sanity
The galaxies
Don't give
A clear
Bright answer
I couldn't
Blame them
Even if
I wanted to
If I followed
A shadow
Of the
Moon
Or the falling
Of a fading
Used up
Sun
Or the dead
Alluring
Bright bites
Of the Stars
I wouldn't
Be here
Lazily drowning
In dead philosophy
Instead
I might be
Doing
Something
With myself
Instead
Of waiting
For things
To
Come
Back
Around
Maybe
Those dead
Lights
And
Ravenous
Flames
And shadowy
Craters
Mean
Something
Maybe they are
Really
Screaming
The answers
And we only see
A vast expanse of beauty
Don't give
A clear
Bright answer
I couldn't
Blame them
Even if
I wanted to
If I followed
A shadow
Of the
Moon
Or the falling
Of a fading
Used up
Sun
Or the dead
Alluring
Bright bites
Of the Stars
I wouldn't
Be here
Lazily drowning
In dead philosophy
Instead
I might be
Doing
Something
With myself
Instead
Of waiting
For things
To
Come
Back
Around
Maybe
Those dead
Lights
And
Ravenous
Flames
And shadowy
Craters
Mean

Maybe they are
Really
Screaming
The answers
And we only see
A vast expanse of beauty
