Instagram Crush

Have you ever had to get over someone you never had?
Whenever you think about them you tell yourself “Damn I want them so bad”
Believe It or not, that’s how she makes me feel
And I know writing this poem is probably vanity
But when I put my thoughts on paper it helps me reclaim some of my sanity
Maybe I’m crazy about her? Nahh
I’ve always been a hopeless romantic I guess, but all I can do is try, and right now this is my best
I don’t even know this girl but I think about her almost everyday
And if we actually talked I’d have so much to say
I love how it’s Impossible to look at her and not smile
Or how I continue to write because knowing Its for her makes it all worthwhile
Honestly I’m just trying to make a connection
Because whenever I look at you I see no Imperfection
I could keep going but I already said this poem is vanity
I’ll just keep writing though. Reclaim some of my sanity…
