shining in it's purest form

i am your hesitation

in circles searching for peace

i am the hand you reach for
when no one else is there
in this charade so perfect

i am the user, the abuser
haunting your nightmares
serving the great deceiver

i am your false beauty,
all of your hidden hate
and the hideous face of averice

i am your shadow
