To pass through this path

I anticipate all my steps,

Contemplating every breath,

Remembering each time I wept

To pass through this path unscathed.

I follow the stars and yet they betray me,

They've led me to the depths of solitude;

A deadly and enamoring abyss.

I lingered like a tree full of desire

A tree rooted in the midst of the mire

And while I know my time is fated

I have one last unsound wish.

I may just be confused and intoxicated

But I yearn for this deadlock to be a prelude;

A charm of the enticing lone wolf.
