Perspective
To many I am insane
To little I am the wisest
To the ignorant I am lame
To the pessimist I am the brightest
Perspective after perspective, I am still the same
I am a human; an animal self-tamed
Experience is what feeds me
Learning is my cup of tea
Sadly in reality, nothing comes for free
For everything I get something must be given
the price should be my pride
Without it my soul starts to thriven.

"pride goes before the fall" sprung to mind but this gives the opposite: lose the pride, grow the soul. I like it... from the exploration of perspectives to defining the 'self'. Nicely done.

I like it, perspective has always been something that fascinated me.
The last two lines I'm not entirely sure the meaning, (an artist never needs to explain though) but everything else is great.
Life experiences should always be cherished.
